A Forney Flooring Family Tradition

Patty McClain learned everything she knows about the flooring business from her father helping him manage his Forney Flooring Company. Now, he works for her.

She managed her father’s business, White’s Carpets in Forney, for four years. Then her father, Sonny White, sold the longtime business in February 2007, and she was laid off by the new owners after a few months. McClain was five months pregnant at the time.

After taking time off to have the baby, McClain decided to start her own flooring business. All About Floors in Forney TX opened in December 2007.

McClain moved to a new showroom and warehouse because she needed more space. It’s nearly four times the size of the former location about two miles away. After the move, McClain hired a fifth employee and added counter tops and window treatment offerings.

Medical Flooring

We specialize in flooring for the medical industry, retirement communities and handicapped facilities. We’re very good about helping our clients make confident decisions on what materials to use. We want to provide flooring options that create a comfortable home like feel for patients, but that are also resistant to indentation from heavy beds and equipment and are suitable for environments where sanitation is critical.
